Yoga
Yoga is not just a physical practice, but a whole way of being. It is physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually beneficial.
As a practice, yoga can build discipline, strength, flexibility and confidence across the domains. It is truly “whole”-istic. At the heart of its philosophy is the idea of building awareness and connection between the mind, body, and soul. More subtly, yoga practice can help you feel more at ease, aligned and vital as it is a method to shift and transmute energy. Contemporary neuroscience advocates the benefits of yoga practice on the nervous system and health.
I will often incorporate yoga, movement and breathwork in workshops, as support and foundation for mental activity or meditation.
In this instance, I share and teach yoga philosophy and practices, having trained extensively with master teachers from 2008, including Kate Pell, Donna Farhi, Rod Stryker, Amy Weintraub, Elena Brower, Anodea Judith, Tara Judelle.
